Shan Dahi Bara Mix 50 g brings the beloved South Asian street-food favourite — Dahi Bara (soft lentil fritters soaked in spiced yogurt) — into your kitchen with minimal effort. The mix contains a balanced blend of lentil flour and traditional spices so you can quickly prepare soft, flavourful fritters.

To make dahi bara: mix with water to form batter, fry or steam fritters, then soak in water and top with yoghurt, chutney, spices, and optional toppings (chickpeas, sev, coriander). The result: soft, tangy, creamy, and fully authentic Dahi Bara/Chaat.

Lentil Flour (urad/moong), Salt, Red Chilli, Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, Dried Ginger, Paprika, Dehydrated Onion & Garlic Powder, Baking Powder / Raising Agent.

How to Use

  1. Mix Shan Dahi Bara Mix with water to form a batter (consistency similar to pancake batter).

  2. Shape into small dumplings or patties.

  3. Deep-fry or shallow-fry until golden and cooked through. Alternatively, steam for lighter version.

  4. Soak fritters in clean water for 10–15 minutes, then squeeze gently to remove excess water.
